Glossary Entry: Starter pack

Definition

A starter pack is a box or package containing everything you need to begin playing a collectible card game. They typically contain manuals with the game's rules, tokens or other game pieces that the players will need, and a decent number of randomly chosen cards for the game.

Players usually only need to buy one starter pack; it's cheaper to get more cards through trading or booster packs.
