Spam can refer to two different things. Most commonly, it's the term for unwanted, unsolicited messages - the internet's version of junk mail.

In the context of video games, spamming refers to using an ability repeatedly in a short amount of time. This can be meant as an insult, as it implies the person doing the spamming isn't playing well.
