Glossary Entry: Oni

An oni is a type of evil creature from Asian folklore. They are somewhat similar to ogres and trolls from more Western folklore, though as oni are usually depicted with horns and fangs, their appearance is more in line with what we'd expect from a devil.

Although they are supernatural in origin, they are typically little more than bullies or thugs.
