Glossary Entry: Minigame

Definition

Minigames are small, simple games found inside of another game. They are often used as a form of interactive obstacle, but they can be used as a means of earning useful items.

For example, a player may be tasked with completing a minigame in order to pick a lock. If the player wins the minigame, then the attempt to pick the lock is successful.
