Glossary Entry: Incubi and Succubi
Quick Definition
Originating from myth and legend, these are a popular type of demon. More specifically, they are sex demons.
Based around the sin of lust, they either seek to incite lustful thoughts and behaviors in people, or they actively "prey" on people by having sexual relations with them (occasionally by force). The exact details depend on the fictional work in question, but you can always expect them to be scantily dressed and heavily sexualized, even if they don't actually sleep with anyone.
The terms "incubus" and the plural form "incubi" refer to the male form of this type of demon, while "succubus" and its plural form "succubi" refers to the females.
