Glossary Entry: Holy War

Definition

On the internet, holy wars are topics that, once brought into conversation, create arguments that will never end. Many can also escalate into surprisingly dramatic fights.

Well known examples include anything to do with religion or politics, the classic PC vs Mac debate, whether PCs or Consoles are better for gaming, and whether EMACS or vi is the best text editor for programming.
