Glossary Entry: Holy War

This is a term for arguments that will never end. They often escalate into flame wars, and are usually things that are a bad idea to talk about seriously.

Common examples include PCs vs Mac, PCs vs Consoles, EMACS vs vi, and anything to do with religion or politics.

For the curious, EMACS and vi are both text editors and they have something of a rivalry between their respective fans. Personally, I use neither.
