Definition
The majority of gamers play video game for the fun of it. Hardcore Gamers, however, take their hobby much more seriously, often placing a lot of value on someone's gaming skills and knowledge.
Alternatively, hardcore gamers prefer to be challenged by their entertainment, and won't settle for games that are too easy or simple.
