Glossary Entry: Endless Runner

An Endless Runner is a type of game where the player's character is always running. 3D Endless Runners usually have the character running into the distance, while 2D games have them run to the right. Either way, the goal is simply to avoid obstacles and get as far as you can.

These games are more popular on smartphones and tablets than PCs, but the genre is still represented here from time to time.
