Definition
As a genre, Endless Runners are all about moving - usually running - in one direction. 3D versions usually have the player running into the distance, while 2D games have them run to the right. Either way, the goal is simply to avoid obstacles and get as far as you can.
These games are more popular on smartphones and tablets than PCs, but the genre is still represented here from time to time.
