Glossary Entry: Endgame

The endgame is a period of time towards the end of a game. Endgame items or equipment will be at their most powerful or highest value, as the player will be gearing up for the game's most difficult bosses and enemies.

Putting it another way, picture an action movie: the endgame is right at the climax where the hero is gearing up to fight the villain once and for all.
